Nevada's statute of limitations for car accident injury claims is 2 years from the date of the accident under NRS 11.190. Property damage claims have a 3-year deadline. Missing either deadline permanently bars your claim — contact an attorney immediately after your accident.

Under NRS 41.141, Nevada uses modified comparative negligence. You can recover compensation as long as you are 50% or less at fault for the accident. Nevada law (NRS 485.185) requires minimum liability coverage of $25,000 per person / $50,000 per accident for bodily injury, and $20,000 for property damage (25/50/20).
